Pixel Lineage Spear Guide: Branches and Dragonlord Route
Follow Spear's Halberdier, Valkyrie and Dragoon paths, compare move unlock levels, and locate the reported Dragonlord Sigil and Tome acts.
Spear is a starting-class route with three Super branches: Halberdier, Valkyrie, and Dragoon. Each leads to a different reported Ultra class. The branch determines the move names on the progression path and, for the Dragoon route, which Dragonlord materials belong on the later farming list.
The branch and location information below follows the MrGuider and Gamezebo Spear references reviewed October 23, 2026. It describes progression milestones rather than a damage ranking.
Spear branches and move unlocks
| Super branch | Reported Ultra | First Super move | Hero level 10 | Hero level 14 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Halberdier | Warbringer | Hook and Spike | Halberd Cleave | Headsman’s Swing |
| Valkyrie | Valhalla | Winged Dive | Battle Hymn | Thunder Spear |
| Dragoon | Dragonlord | Jump | Dragon Lance | Highwind |
The first move is reported to become available when the Super branch is obtained. The following two milestones refer to hero levels 10 and 14, rather than Class Mastery values. Hero level, mastery, and possession of a branch are separate progression conditions.
The table identifies the move sequence. A name such as Thunder Spear or Battle Hymn does not by itself establish its damage type, target count, Energy cost, or buff strength. Those details belong to the corresponding in-game skill description.
The Act 2 Trainer’s Shrine
Super selection is reported in Act 2, The Dungeon, at the Trainer’s Shrine. Reaching Act 2 and obtaining a Super are separate milestones: a character still needs to encounter the shrine and meet the options it presents.
At that point, the relevant checks are:
- Current base class: confirm that the character being developed is Spear.
- Branch name: distinguish Halberdier, Valkyrie, and Dragoon before confirming a selection.
- Displayed requirements: read the shrine’s current conditions and any quoted cost.
- Resulting class and skills: check the character panel after selection, then compare available moves with the level milestones above.
No fixed shrine fee, floor number, or encounter frequency is established by the references used here. The Super and Ultra reference separates branch selection from the later material stage.
Dragoon to Dragonlord materials
The two guides agree on the reported act locations for the Dragonlord materials:
| Material | Reported location | Progression context |
|---|---|---|
| Dragonlord Sigil | Act 8 | Awakens Dragoon into Dragonlord. |
| Dragonlord Tome | Act 6 | Teaches later Dragonlord skills after awakening. |
These are act-level farming locations, not guaranteed rewards from entering the act. They do not establish a drop percentage, a fixed number of clears, or a particular enemy’s guaranteed drop.
Use the matching Sigil to awaken Dragoon into Dragonlord, then use Ultra Tomes to learn the second and third skills. The Sigil changes the class stage; the Tome develops the awakened class’s moves. Keep both on the farming checklist, but read the current advancement and learning menus for the quantity required at each step. The references do not establish a guaranteed number of runs or item-consumption rules.
Dragonlord is a class name. It should not be confused with a Dragon-related race or treated as a requirement to hold a particular race.
Progression milestone checklist
- Starting route: identify Spear as the character’s base class.
- Super selection: reach Act 2 and inspect the Trainer’s Shrine branch options.
- First branch move: confirm the obtained Super and its opening move.
- Hero-level milestones: check the branch’s second move at level 10 and third move at level 14.
- Ultra materials: on the Dragoon route, track the Dragonlord Tome from reported Act 6 coverage and the Sigil from reported Act 8 coverage.
- Awakening: compare the Dragonlord Sigil and character requirements with the Ultra advancement screen, then confirm the intended class.
- Later skills: after awakening, check the Dragonlord Tome requirements for learning the second and third Ultra skills.
Trying Spear on a new save and changing an existing hero’s Super branch are different operations. The class-change guide explains the new-save route without treating it as an in-place branch reset.
