Pixel Lineage Traits: Effects and Talent Spins
Reference for seven named Pixel Lineage traits, their passive effects, activation conditions, limitations, and the Talent Spin system.
Pixel Lineage traits provide passive effects alongside a character’s race and class. The character screen uses the label Trait, while Talent Spins are the resource associated with trait rerolls. Effects cover combat attributes, triggered protection, progression, and rewards.
Trait effects
Each entry below uses the same fields: the passive effect, when it applies, and its conditions or scope. The order is alphabetical and does not indicate strength or rarity.
| Trait | Effect | Trigger or application | Conditions and scope |
|---|---|---|---|
| Arcane Spark | Additional starting Energy and a Magic bonus. | Starting Energy is granted at the beginning of a battle. | Starting Energy is distinct from recurring Energy gained during later rounds. |
| Fortune’s Favor | +10% Gold, +4% loot, and +2% jackpot chance. | Reward calculations. | These are reward bonuses; they do not guarantee a particular item or jackpot. |
| Iron Soul | A defense bonus and a chance to reject harmful effects. | Defense calculations and attempts to apply harmful effects such as Burn, Poison, or Stun. | The resistance is chance-based, rather than immunity. |
| Keen Eye | Critical-chance and dodge bonuses. | Applicable critical-hit and evasion calculations. | This trait is separate from the Archer class passive that shares its name. |
| Prodigy | Bonuses to Attack, Magic, Defense, maximum HP, critical chance, XP, and class mastery. | The corresponding combat attributes and progression rewards. | Exact bonus values are shown in the current trait description. |
| Quick Study | Increased battle XP and class mastery. | XP and mastery awarded from battles. | Its listed effects concern progression rewards. |
| Survivor | Additional maximum HP and the Endure knockout safeguard. | Once per battle, a qualifying knockout blow can leave the character alive. | Endure requires health above its stated threshold before the hit; it is not repeated protection against every knockout. |
Each trait’s current character-screen description provides its numerical bonuses and activation thresholds. Effects can change with game updates.
Trait and class effects with the same name
Keen Eye appears in two separate systems. The trait concerns critical chance and dodge. The Archer class passive concerns basic arrows ignoring some enemy defense. A shared name does not make their effects interchangeable.
Talent Spins and trait rerolls
The character-edit panel contains the current Trait, its description, and the number of trait rerolls remaining. Reroll Trait changes the trait using the associated reroll resource.
Race and Trait have separate controls and spin resources. A Race Spin changes the race; a Talent Spin concerns the trait. The codes reference lists reported rewards and distinguishes official code listings from community reports.
